Veterinarian
Dr. Macy Pickering was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, and is proud to serve the community she has always called home. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from West Texas A&M University in 2021 before graduating with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2026.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Pickering enjoys spending time with her husband, Bailey, and family, watching movies, and caring for her own furry (and scaly) crew: two dogs (Flynn and Penny), two cats (Joey and Bagheera), and a bearded dragon (Sully). She has a special interest in neonatal and pediatric care and enjoys helping animals navigate the critical early stages of life, ensuring they have the healthiest possible start. She also has a strong appreciation for feline medicine and enjoys helping cats receive the individualized care they deserve.
