Veterinarian
Dr. Lauren Gutierrez was born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She earned her Bachelor's of Science in Animal Science from New Mexico State University in 2022 before graduating from Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in May 2026.
Her professional interests include hospice and end-of-life care, small exotic companion animals, and rehabilitative medicine.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys CrossFit and weightlifting, traveling, spending time outdoors, cooking, and trying new restaurants and different foods. She loves spending time with her fiancé, Jonathan, their three cats, and visiting family and friends back home in New Mexico. She is excited to build lasting relationships with the Amarillo community and support their pets throughout every life stage.
